Byron Bay Aero Club (Tyagarah Aero Club Inc) is a loose, informal group of aviation nut cases. We are interested in pretty much anything that flies, Our pilots and aviators have flown everything from biz jets to biplanes, from gliders to gyrocopters, from STOL aircraft that take off and land in just a few meters to sophisticated military aircraft and fast personal tourers that zip around at a rapid rate of knots. We live aviation and are passionate about sharing our knowledge and experience. "When you stop learning, please stop flying", advice from a great pilot.

We love to talk flying! We welcome fellow intrepid aviators from foreign fields ashore, curious visitors, and neighbours from the surrounding local Byron Shire community and Northern Rivers airfields as well.
